Behind the Dome

Produced for the Maynard Jordan Planetarium and Versant Power Astronomy Complex at the University of Maine, Under the Dome tells the story of planetariums in the United States and the history of the Maynard Jordan Planetarium itself.

The Versant Power Astronomy Complex/University of Maine collaborated with Story Stroll on this brand documentary in 2024 as part of their campaign to raise funds for upgrades to the Maynard Jordan Planetarium. Instead of a video discussing statistics, we crafted a brief story about why planetariums are an important part of American history and how the Maynard Jordan Planetarium came to be part of the University of Maine community.
